Kids multisensory
Art class

from 10-11am
Come celebrate summer and join pediatric occupational therapist Juliette Pierce with Community Pediatric Therapy to create a multisensory art project of an ice cream cone using shaving cream paint! Messy play is a great way to support a child's natural development of their sensory system. Caregivers and their children will collaborate and bond through art! We will have the materials, but please dress with the thought that we may get messy clothes. First, we will review the plan using a visual schedule, then we will make art, and lastly, the child gets to take home their masterpiece!

About the Founder
Hi, I’m Juliette and I am a licensed and registered occupational therapist! Fun facts about me, I’m from Chicago. Occupational therapy is a second passion for me. I used to be an interior designer for high-end residential homes in Chicago. But I wanted to explore my connection to humanity in a new way. Now I merge art and science as an OT and as an independent artist! Yes, I can help support adaptive design. I lived in Bakersfield California briefly as a travel therapist. I love gardening and growing flowers! I’m married to an Air Force veteran with 3 fur babies. I can’t wait to meet you!
My Occupational Therapy Experience
I have a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Governors State University. I have provided pediatric therapy services for the last 6 years through various models in schools and clinics. I have specialized in virtual therapy for the last 5 years. Currently, I am located virtually from Damascus, Oregon, and offer teletherapy throughout the states of Oregon, California, and Washington. I have worked with many different school districts and families. I believe in child-led therapy working as a team of family, therapist, and child to promote increased quality of life and positive outcomes. I believe in connection before intervention and focus on building therapeutic rapport. Learning happens when the nervous system is calm! I’d love to help support your child and family with play-based therapy! 💗
